President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the redeployment of sixteen serving Permanent Secretaries in a sweeping administrative shake-up aimed at improving efficiency across federal ministries and agencies. The announcement was contained in a statement issued on Wednesday by the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr. Didi Esther Walson-Jack.

According to the statement, the redeployment takes effect from November 19, 2025, and all affected officials are expected to complete their handing-over and taking-over processes on or before November 26, 2025.
