NO US HELP FOR YOU: Trump rallies global nations to secure their own oil from Iran
The United States President Donald Trump has told countries affected by disruptions in the Middle East oil supply chain to take responsibility for securing their own energy resources, amid rising tensions linked to the Strait of Hormuz.
In a post on his Truth Social platform on Tuesday, Trump argued that nations which “refused to get involved” in the ongoing geopolitical crisis should not expect U.S. assistance in addressing fuel shortages caused by the blockade.

He urged such countries to act independently, stating they should “build up some delayed courage” and “go to the Strait and just TAKE IT,” referring to the strategically critical maritime chokepoint through which a significant share of global oil shipments passes.
According to him, the United States would not intervene to support affected countries, insisting that they had previously failed to stand by Washington when it needed assistance.
“The U.S.A. won’t be there to help you anymore, just like you weren’t there for us,” Trump wrote. “Iran has been, essentially, decimated. The hard part is done. Go get your own oil!”
The remarks come against the backdrop of heightened instability in the Middle East, where security conditions around the Strait of Hormuz continue to raise concerns over global energy supply disruptions.
Trump’s comments are expected to further intensify diplomatic debate over burden-sharing among allied nations in managing energy security and regional conflict fallout.
