Army, NDLEA Nab Three Suspected Drug Suppliers Linked to Terrorists in Katsina
Troops of the Nigerian Army, working in collaboration with operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), have arrested three suspected drug suppliers allegedly linked to terrorist groups and other criminal elements in Katsina State.
The suspects were apprehended during a joint intelligence-led operation conducted at about 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday by troops of the Forward Operating Base (FOB) Malumfashi deployed at Kafur, alongside operatives of the NDLEA Area Command, Malumfashi.
Security sources disclosed that the operation targeted suspected drug distribution points in Kagara village, Kafur Local Government Area, as part of ongoing efforts to dismantle criminal supply networks operating in the area.
