Customs Announces Screening Dates for Successful Recruitment Candidates
The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has announced the commencement of physical screening and documentation for successful candidates shortlisted for recruitment into the Service.
The exercise is scheduled to take place at the Nigeria Customs Command and Staff College (NCCSC), Gwagwalada, Abuja.
The Service disclosed this in a statement issued on Tuesday by its National Public Relations Officer, Deputy Comptroller Abdullahi Maiwada, on behalf of the Comptroller-General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi.
According to the statement, all shortlisted candidates are required to appear for the exercise on the date allocated to their respective states and cadres.
Candidates are also expected to come with the original and photocopies of their National Identification Number (NIN), Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age, as well as educational certificates, including O’Level, ND, HND, Degree or other applicable qualifications.

Other required documents include a Certificate of State of Origin, two recent passport photographs, a completed Guarantor’s Form and NYSC Certificate, where applicable.
The NCS instructed candidates to wear a white T-shirt, shorts and canvas shoes for the screening exercise.
It stressed that attendance is compulsory, warning that failure to appear on the scheduled date could lead to disqualification from the recruitment process.
The Service further stated that candidates who successfully complete the physical screening and documentation would receive subsequent instructions regarding the next stages of the recruitment exercise.
The NCS, under the leadership of Adeniyi and his management team, assured candidates and the general public that the recruitment process would remain transparent, fair and merit-based.
It also urged candidates to rely exclusively on official NCS communication channels for authentic information concerning the screening and documentation exercise.
