Kwara Gov, Speaker Extol Emir of Ilorin on 25th anniversary
Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has felicitated with the Emir of Ilorin Dr Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari on the 25th anniversary of his ascension of the throne, saying his reign has brought development, sustainable peace, and rising honour for the emirate and the state as a whole.
The Emir will commemorate the 25th anniversary of his coronation on Wednesday November 11, 2020.
“On behalf of the government and people of Kwara State, I congratulate His Royal Highness the Emir of Ilorin and the Chairman of the Kwara State Council of Chiefs Dr Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari (CFR) on the silver jubilee of his rise to the venerable throne of Shehu Alimi,” the Governor said in a statement.
“Ilorin under His Royal Highness has not only emerged as one of the most populous and fastest growing metropolis in the recent years, it has indeed been peaceful while recording appreciable investments from far and wide. There is no denying the laudable contributions of His Royal Highness to these remarkable milestones. Indeed, his generosity and wise counsel are acknowledged by all.

Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly has congratulated His Royal Highness, the Emir of Ilorin who doubles as the Chairman, Kwara State Council of Traditional Rulers – Alh. Dr. Ibrahim Zulu Gambari (OFR) as his reign on the throne clocks twenty five (25) years.
“I am delighted to celebrate with our royal father, His Royal Highness, the Emir of Ilorin – Alh. Dr. Ibrahim Zulu Gambari as his peaceful and prosperous reign as the 11th Emir of Ilorin Emirate clocks 25”, Danladi-Salihu said in a statement issued through his Special Assistant on Media, Ibrahim Sheriff in Ilorin.
“His Highness have been a strong pillar of support for the 9th Kwara State House of Assembly and indeed, the present government of Kwara State in our efforts to champion the course of a peaceful and better Kwara that works for all.
“On behalf of the 9th Kwara legislature, I congratulate His Royal Highness and the good people of Ilorin Emirate. I pray Allah in His Infinite Mercy grant His Highness longer and healthier life to further unprecedented peaceful, fulfilling and more prosperous reign”, he added.
