New Year Wedding: Ex-Police Boss, Ibrahim Idris, Remarries 1st Wife
A former Inspector General of Police (IGP), Ibrahim Kpotun Idris, on Friday, ‘New Year’ day, wedded Barrister Asmau Ndayako.
PRNigeria, gathered that Idris is remarrying Asmau, a lawyer and princess from the Ndayako ruling house of Etsu Nupe, who he had parted ways with, sometimes in 2018.

The wedding feast, was held at the ex-IGP’s residence at GRA, in the ancient town of Bida.
PRNigeria learnt that the immediate-past Police Chief, recently dissolved his ‘controversy-laden’ union with his second wife, Amina Astha, a Kaduna State-born Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), whom he married in 2017.
Kpotun Idris, was appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari on 21st March 2016, and served as IGP till his retirement in January 2019.
