Yusuf Lawal Emerges Vice President of NISS Alumna Association
Dr. Yusuf Lawal, the multiple award winner at the 2021 graduation of the National Institute for Security Studies has emerged the Vice President of the fifteen year old Alumni Association of the Institute.
Dr Lawal who emerged after a keenly contested election is currently the Director, Advancement Office and a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Abuja.
He was a part of the new leadership elected at the Annual General Meeting of the Alumni Association of the National Institute for Security Studies (AANISS) held in Abuja.
The new president of the association is Barrister Mike Ejiofor, a former Director with the Department of State Services (DSS).

The association comprises security experts and major strategic professionals from Nigeria and foreign countries who are fellows of the security institute, having successfully completed a year study at the National Institute for Security Studies, Abuja, Nigeria.
The 2022 set of the Institute which is the 15th will graduate on Saturday, 3rd December 2022 where the Presidents of Nigeria and Gambia are expected to grace the event.
The graduating students are drawn from the Intelligence Community, Military, Police, Paramilitary and other strategic agencies of government from Nigeria, Ghana, Gambia, Liberia and Rwanda among other foreign countries.
