DEPOWA Commends Military Personnel’s Wives for Supporting their Spouses

Wife of the Chief of Defence Staff, Barr. Vickie Irabor, has applauded all Military, and Police officers’ wives across the country for their stride in continuing to hold forth when their spouses’ are away in the line of duty serving the nation.

Bar. Irabor, who is the President, Defence and Police Officers Wives Association, DEPOWA, made the commendation at a Send Forth/Dinner Party in honour of the past DEPOWA’s coordinators, held in Abuja.

She expressed gratitude to all members of the association for the support they are giving their husbands in various theatres of operation across the country.

She said, “We visited the wounded soldiers at Maimalari Millitary Hospital as well as reaching out to the widows of fallen heroes.

“All these were achieved to support our husbands in the non-kinetic operations. Be assured that DEPOWA will continue to galvanize public support towards military operations until total peace is restored”, she said.
