The attention of the Comptroller General of the Nigerian Immigration Service, Muhammad Babandede MFR has been drawn to the activities of some fraudsters who are deceiving members of the public about job placement in the Nigeria Immigration Service.

The Comptroller General hereby announces that there is no recruitment exercise of any sort into the NIS at the moment. Therefore anybody making promises to anyone about possible assistance to getting employment into the NIS is deceptive, fraudulent and malicious. Such offers are not true and are intended to defraud unsuspecting members of the public.

As a tradition, the NIS will always use credible and conventional media to inform the public of any recruitment exercise when the need arises.
