Police Nab Killers of Suleiman Yunusa in Bauchi

Police Nab Killers of Suleiman Yunusa in Bauchi
Following an incident reported at Toro Police Station, that on 28/12/2017 at about 2340hrs unknown gunmen stormed the residence of one Sulaiman Yunusa 40yrs ‘m’ of Magama Gumau village, Toro LGA ,Bauchi State, with an intent to rob in the process they stabbed and shot him, as a result he sustained serious injuries where he was rushed to General Hospital Toro and later referred to ATBU Teaching Hospital Bauchi but died on 30/12/2017 while receiving treatment.
Discreet investigation by the Police attached to Toro Police Station led to the arrest of the following suspects:
i. Abubakar Sadiq Mohammed 20yrs ‘m’,
ii. Yahaya Mohammed 18yrs ‘m’all of Ladduga village, Toro LGA.
The two arrested suspects confessed to have conspired among themselves and one Ahmadu Ngari a commercial Motorcycle rider now at large and committed the crime.
The said Ahmadu Ngari happens to be very close and trusted by the late victim whom he usually call whenever he need the service of commercial Motorcycle but unfortunately he betrayed him by inviting his robbery gang that attacked and killed him.
Exhibits recovered include:
i. Two locally made revolver Rifles
ii. Eight live ammunition of AK47 Rifle
iii. Five empty shells of AK47 Rifle recovered at the scene of crime.
iv. One red cap.
Case under investigation after which the suspects will be charged to court as soon as possible.
