Seperate Inmates from Sick Prisoners- Intelligence Managers
Participants of Executive Intelligence Management Course ll of the Institute of Security Studies, Abuja have advocated the seperation of inmates from prisoners who have communicable diseases.
The course participants made the call while on a courtesy visit to New and Old Prisons in Kebbi State capital Birnin Kebbi.
The strategic managers drawn from different security organizations across the country, were in the state on 8-day study tour to strategic places including prisons.
They underscored the importance of separating inmates with communicable disease such as Hepatitis, Tuberculosis, HIV etc, from others not infected with the disease. They advocate for exhibitions of projects where inmates showcase case their talents to the public on what they acquired from Prison Vocational and Reformation Trainings while in custody.
In his remarks the Controller of Prisons Kebbi State Command, CP.Sani Adamu Potiskum, who conducted them round the prisons, expresses gratitude to the participants, and calls for support to prisons in the state from philanthropists, politicians, non governmental organizations, civil societies, and faith based bodies.
