Nnewi Town Honours Law Enforcement Officials for Outstanding Security Services
As part of its efforts to show appreciation and boost the morale of the law enforcement officials in the State,the Nnewi Communities have today 15/8/2020 honoured law enforcement officials who exhibited selfless service in promoting safety and security in Nnewi town at the palace of HRH Igwe K.O.N Orizu III.
The occasion which was sponsored by one of it’s illustrious Son Chief Dr Chukwuma Innoson recognizes officers who cut across various security agencies in the State comprising Police,DSS,Civil Defence,FRSC and local vigilante group.

Beneficiaries of the awards includes the Commissioner of police *CP John B.Abang,fdc* Area Commander Nnewi ACP Sunday Irek,2i/c Nnewi Area Command CSP Ndidi Amaka,DPO CPS Nnewi CSP NNAMDI ANABIKE and DPO Otolo Division CSP Hassan Lawal.Others includes Divisional crime officers Nnewi and Otolo Divisions as well as Unit Commanders SARS and Special Anti-cult among others.
Responding on behalf of the award recipients, the Commissioner of Police *CP John B.Abang,fdc* thanked the traditional ruler and organisers for recognizing their efforts towards promoting safety and security in the State.The CP further promised to work for greater peace and security in Anambra State and beyond.Important dignitaries who graced the occasion includes former Governor of Anambra State Her Excellency Dame Virgy Etiaba,Chief Dr Chukwuma Innoson,(Chairman and CEO INNOSON Motors)Chief Engr Dan Ulasi.Also present are Obi of Uruagu,Obi Afam Obi,Obi of Umudim,Obi Beneth Okafor,Obi of Nnewichi ,Obi George Onyekaba and PG Nnewi Sir Ugochukwu Udemezie among others.
