NEMA Distributes Relief Materials to As part of Victims of Insurgency in Jere
Efforts of Director General NEMA AVM Muhammadu Mohammed to ensure prompt response to victims of disasters across the country, officials NEMA North East zonal office Maiduguri led by acting Zonal coordinator Isah Ishaya chonoko distributed food and non food items for new influx of 1888 households of Internally Displaced persons from communities affected by insurgency in Jere LGA Borno state.

The communities are residing at Gonglon host community where arrangement for temporary shelter is ongoing in collaboration with Borno state Government and other humanitarian Partners.
The items were received by representatives of Borno state Emergency Management Agency BOSEMA And Alh Ahmed Kurna a community leader . The items distributed include food items,
mattresses, buckets,mosquito nets,soap, plates, buckets, spoons, Male and Female clothing for men and children,wax prints for women, and diapers for babies.
The beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the gesture by the Federal and state Government.
