IDP: NEMA Distributes Relief Items to 38,000 Households in Borno

Representatives of the IDPs and Beneficiaries have expressed their commendation and appreciation to The Federal Government and Fed Min of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development for the prompt and efficient manner of the monthly food distribution embarked upon by NEMA.

Officials of NEMA North East led by Head of Borno state Food distribution team Flt Lt Umar Sani have continued the Routine Monthly food distribution for 38000 house holds of Internally Displaced Persons in Borno state.

NEMA has been providing food items and condiments to IDPs residing in 8 IDPs camps, 9 host communities and 3 liberated communities of Mainok, Jakana and Benishiek along Maiduguri Damaturu federal highway . the Beneficiaries pointed out that the food items given to them has provided succor and enabled them to feed their families comfortably despite the inconvenience of being displaced from their homes.
