NCoS Decorates 137 Newly Promoted Officers in Kwara

It was a celebration gallor at the Kwara State Correctional Headquarter’s office Complex yesterday 17th June 2021, as the state controller of corrections, Mallam Aliyu Baba Usman decorated One hundred and thirty seven newly promoted officers in the command.

The analysis of the decorated officers are as follows:
1. ACC to DCC – 1
2. CSC to ACC – 3
3. SC to CSC – 9
4. DSC to SC – 8
5. ASC I to DSC – 16
6. ASC II to ASC I – 10
7. Upgraded junior officers to the superintendent cadre ASC II – 9
8. IC II to IC I – 49
And 44 junior officers were promoted to various junior ranks.

While addressing the gathering, the state controller used the medium to appreciate the controller General of corrections (CGC) Haliru Nababa mni for the great achievement and implored the officers to be more dedicated to their duties, as more responsibility is bestowed on them and he thanked all the well wishers in the gathering, moreover, he applauded the officers of the command for their cooperation to his administration.

The most senior newly decorated officer, DCC Fari Mohammed Yahaya appreciated the controller and the entire staff for the support given to them for the success of the program.

Some of the highlights of the program included highlife music presented by the Kwara Command reformers band and it was wrapped up with a group photograph.
