Groups support establishment of Neuropsychiatric Hospital at Budo Egba in Kwara
Members of Budo Egba Communty, Ilorin Emirate, and officials of Asa Local Government Area, in Kwara State, have thrown their support behind the establishment of a Neuropsychiatric Hospital at Budo Egba town.
Speaking at a Senate Public Hearing on the Bill for the Establishment of the Neuropsychiatric Hospital, at the
National Assembly, Dr. Yusuf Lawal, said, “Our community is fully conscious of the enormity of the benefits, that the establishment of the Hospital would attract to us, therefore we are not unmindful of our obligations and commitment to ensuring the smooth and seamless establishment of the Hospital in our community.”
The bill was sponsored by Dr. Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe, Senator representing Kwara Central in the Senate.
Lawal said they are eagerly awaiting the immediate take off of the Hospital, pledging their full support, the provision of all local requirements such as land and other logistics that may be needed for the construction of the Hospital.

“We wish to assure all concerned that the entire community is in support of the establishment of the Hospital in Budo Egba.
“While we eagerly look forward to the successful completion of the legislative and executive procedures on the establishment of the Hospital, we wish to use this forum to pledge the community’s support to President Muhammdu Buhari, GCFR, and Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq in their individual and collective efforts at ensuring security, peace and development in Nigeria,” he added.

Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the Chief of Staff to the President, Professor Ibrahim Agboola Gambari; the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed and the Minister of State for Transportation, Senator Gbemisola Saraki.
The Minister of Health, Dr. Osagie Ehanire and the Minister of State for Health Senator Olorunibe Mamora ate also in the support of the project.
