Thousands Attend Juma’at Service at National Mosque as ‘Civil Service Week’ Begins

The 2022 Civil Service Week cerebration commences today, Friday, June 17, 2022 with a Special Juma’at Prayer at the National Mosque, Abuja.
The week is expected to end on Sunday, June 26, 2022 with a church thanksgiving service at Exousia Church of God in Mabuchi, Abuja.
Activities lined up for the week to commemorate the year’s Civil Service Week are; Aerobics, Saturday, June 18, 2022, 7:00 a.m., Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja; an Interactive session with selected Civil Servants from all MDAs, Monday, June 20, 2022, 10.00 a.m., Rotunda Hall, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abuja;

Others are; the Ground Breaking ceremony of the Federal Integrated Staff Housing (FISH) Programme Estate, Tuesday, June 21, 2022, 10.00 a.m. Gwagwalada, FCT, Abuja; Launch of the Pilot Phase of the Federal Civil Service Bus Scheme, Tuesday, June 21, 2022, 2.00 p.m., Eagle Square; and Civil Service Day proper which will feature Public Service Lecture with theme, “Performance management system: impact on productivity,” the launch of Culture Change Video, Launch of FCSSIP25 Documents and Award ceremony, Thursday, June 23, 2022, 9.00 a.m., Banquet Hall, State House, Abuja.

It would be recalled that the Civil Service Week is globally celebrated annually on every 23rd June and Nigeria through the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, is proud to put our teaming Civil Servants on this global movement, where achievers celebrate lots of landmarks in service delivery to its various citizenry.
