The Nigeria Immigration Service Rivers Command in line with the Comptroller General of Immigration Isa Jere Idris mandate of encouraging productivity through welfare package for officers and men inaugurated a five(5) man committee to design a welfare initiative for operatives of the service to be drawn from the Corporate Social Responsibility of friendly organisations that relates with the service in the area of health care,affordable lifestyle for staff in supplying food stuff and other consumables for the wellbeing of officers and men of the command at affordable rates.

As a prudent way of engaging our officers and men,their health care and family is of essence,hence the need for this welfare committee,no officer is tasked,rather friendly companies assist in supplying consumables that are essential for the needs of the officers.we appreciate the leadership of the Comptroller General of Immigration Service Isa Jere Idris for taking officers welfare utmost in his leadership mandate.
