    Outliers Nigeria Gets SMEDAN’s Endorsement as ‘Promising Tech Startup’

    A newly-formed enterprise, Development Outliers Nigeria Limited, has been endorsed as one of the most promising and rapidly evolving Tech Startups in Nigeria.

    The endorsement was contained in a letter signed and addressed to the founder and Chief Executive Officer, CEO, of the company, Mr. Abubakar Gana by the Head, ICT of Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency, SMEDAN, on behalf of the Director-General.

    The DG noted that, being an online e-learning platform, Outliers Nigeria will have a great role to play in providing solutions to Small and Medium Enterprises, SMEs, in Nigeria.

    The letter reads; “l am directed to convey to your organization of the endorsement as one the promising Tech startups in Nigeria.

    “Your solutions, which is the online e-learning
    platform, will definitely improve MSMEs’ capacity in terms of their operations, communications, sales/marketing and finance.

    “While thanking you for your interest in the development of the MSMES sector, please accept the asSurances of the Director General’s warm
    regards.”

    PRNigeria reports that the endorsement is coming barely two months after the company was ranked as the second best Startup by the American Founders Institute in Abuja.

    While expressing his joy for their latest feat, Mr. Gana assured that his company will work in partnership with SMEDAN, to increase the number of SMEs in the country.

    “In addition, we want to train many individuals across Nigeria and Africa on entrepreneurship activities in accordance with the government-approved standards.

    “Also, part of our plan is to assist SMEs to develop policy on the basis of feedbacks from the public.” Mr. Gana added.
