Similarly, the Kannywood film series “Manyan Mata” produced by Abdnur Entertainment has won the social impact movie award of the year 2023 for its socially relevant storyline that skillfully navigates the intricacies of contemporary social challenges in Northern Nigeria; from gender and economic issues to cultural clashes and political unrest.

The Chairman of the occassion, Mallam Sule Yau Sule said that the event is timely especially considering the fact that there are many young unsung heroes who are making remarkable impact in various fields of human endeavors across Northern Nigeria.

“This is in addition to the fact that we have elders who are also inspiring the yiurg to excel. We can’t be here forever and so we need to groom the younger generation to take over from us,” he emphasised.
