Protection Guard: Gov Dauda Invites Defence Minister Matawalle to Zamfara
Governor Dauda Lawal formally extends invitation to former Governor Bello Matawalle, the current Minister of State Defence to serve as Special Guest at the graduation ceremony of the newly created Community Protection Guards. (AskarawA)
The event which is scheduled to take place in Gusau on the 31st of January 2024 is expected to draw the presence of all the 6 Governors from the North West, representatives of Federal Government as well as Local and International Community.

Governor Dauda has repeatedly called on all Zamfara citizens, particularly the political class to set aside differences and join hands in developing the State. He further reiterated his pledge to be open, fair and transparent in the both his personal and official interaction in conformity with his oath of office.
Others invited are all former Governors of the State, Deputies, Members of National and State Assembly, present and former Members of the State Executive Council, Traditional rulers as well as the leadership of all political Parties.
