Defence Chief, Gen. Musa, to Speak at 2024 SAEMA Awards & Conference

The Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Gwabin Musa, will be the guest speaker at the 6th edition of the Security and Emergency Management Award (SAEMA 2024) and Conference.

The award ceremony which is organised by Emergency Digest, a publication of the award-winning Image Merchants Promotion Limited (IMPR) in collaboration with the Centre for Crisis Communication (CCC), recognise outstanding gallantry, patriotism and other contributions of individuals and institutions to Nigeria’s safety, security and emergency management.

Themed: “Leveraging Inter-Agency, Civil-Military Relations,” this year’s event will take place at the Defence Headquarters Conference Hall in Abuja on November 28, 2024, by 10 am.

The event will also feature the presentation of a Book co-authored by PRNigeria Deputy Editor, Mahmud Abdulsalam, and Staff Writer, Mukthar Ya’u Madobi. The Book is titled: “General CG Musa in Peacemaking: Leveraging Inter-Agency and Civil-Military Relations.”

The Publisher of PRNigeria and other titles, Mallam Yushau A. Shuaib, explained that five outstanding security and military officers will receive awards in individual categories, including Crisis Communicator, Law Enforcement Officer, Security Officer, Military Officer, and Defence Journalist of the Year.

He noted that seven institutions will also be recognised for various awards in Crime Prevention, Public Information Management, Cybercrimes Prevention, Emergency Management, Community Service, Diligent Investigation and Civil-Military Relations.

Meanwhile, three organisations will receive awards in special categories which include; Training Institute of the Year, Volunteer Group and Private Security Company of the Year.

He further explained that three distinguished personalities will bag excellence awards for their contribution to security and emergency management in the nation.
