Third Estate Elects Ladan Gobir, others in New Leadership Team
The Third Estate, a prominent socio-cultural forum comprising intellectuals, public officials, and business leaders from the Ilorin Emirate in Kwara State, has elected a new executive leadership at its Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The meeting, which was presided over by the outgoing President, Barrister Ibrahim Toyin Hassan, resulted in the election of Barrister Ahmed Ladan Gobir as the new President. The newly elected leadership is expected to serve a two-year term.
Other elected officials are Mallam Rasheed Omomeji Hassan as Vice President I, Dr. Usman Shehu Aladire as Vice President II, Dr. Lanre Olumo as Secretary, and Lawal Hassan as Assistant Secretary. Also elected were Ibrahim Agboola Saad as Treasurer, Mallam Nasir Abdulquadri as Publicity Secretary, Barrister Musiliu Babatunde as Legal Adviser, and Obashola Jimoh as Auditor.
