Anambra Police Deploy 70 Fresh Constables to Boost Security
To strengthen security across Anambra State, the Police Command has received a fresh batch of 70 newly passed-out constables from the Police Training College, Oji River, Enugu State.
The new officers, who recently completed their training, were deployed in line with the directive of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, to boost manpower and enhance community policing at the grassroots level.

Commissioner of Police, CP Ikioye Orutugu, assured that the officers will be strategically deployed across divisions to improve visibility policing, intelligence gathering, and prompt response to security issues.
He urged the new constables to remain professional and committed to protecting lives and property, while calling on residents to continue cooperating with the police by providing useful information to aid operations.
The deployment, according to the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, underscores the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to ensuring peace, law, and order across the state.
