Nigerian Navy Shortlists Candidates for Basic Training School

Nigerian Navy Shortlists Candidates for Basic Training School

The Nigerian Navy has released the list of candidates shortlisted for the Basic Training School (NNBTS) Batch 38 following the recruitment examination conducted on 29 November 2025. Successful candidates can access the list on the official recruitment portal at https://www.joinnigeriannavy.navy.mil.ng.

Shortlisted candidates are invited to attend interviews scheduled to hold concurrently at the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) Old Site in Kaduna and the Nigerian Navy Basic Training School in Onne, Rivers State, from 10 January to 21 February 2026.

Candidates from the North West, North Central, and North East geopolitical zones are expected to attend their interviews at NDA Old Site, Kaduna, while those from the South West, South South, and South East zones will report to NNBTS Onne, Rivers State.

The interview schedule is as follows:

North West: NDA Old Site, Kaduna – 10 to 23 January 2026

North Central: NDA Old Site, Kaduna – 24 January to 6 February 2026

North East: NDA Old Site, Kaduna – 7 to 20 February 2026

South South: NNBTS Onne, Rivers State – 10 to 23 January 2026

South East: NNBTS Onne, Rivers State – 24 January to 6 February 2026

South West: NNBTS Onne, Rivers State – 7 to 20 February 2026

The Nigerian Navy called on all shortlisted candidates to ensure punctuality and adherence to the schedule for a smooth interview process.

The statement was signed by the Navy Secretary.
