Troops Foil Bandit Attack in Katsina, Launch Manhunt for Assailants
Troops of Operation FANSAN YANMA, in collaboration with the police and members of the Civilian Watch (C-Watch), have foiled a banditry attack and launched a manhunt for gunmen who abducted a woman and rustled livestock in Tsauni Village, Kankara Local Government Area of Katsina State.
Security sources disclosed that the armed bandits invaded the community and abducted a 28-year-old woman, identified as Asiya Ghali, while also making away with several sheep.

Upon receiving a distress alert, troops and joint security operatives swiftly mobilised to the scene, strategically blocking suspected escape routes and initiating a coordinated search operation to track down the perpetrators.
The ongoing operation is aimed at rescuing the abducted victim unharmed and recovering the stolen livestock, as security forces intensify efforts to rid the area of criminal elements.
Authorities have assured residents of sustained patrols and enhanced security presence to prevent further attacks in the locality.
