Third Estate Congratulates AIG Jimoh, CP Magaji on Police Promotions
The Third Estate of the Ilorin Emirate has congratulated two prominent sons of the Emirate, Jimoh Olohundare Moshood and Kayode Uthman Magaji, following their recent promotions in the Nigeria Police Force.
In a statement issued by the President of the association, Mallam Ahmed Ladan Gobir, the group described the elevation of the officers as a proud moment for the Ilorin Emirate and a recognition of their dedication and professionalism in national service.
Jimoh Olohundare Moshood, the immediate past Commissioner of Police in Lagos State and a respected member of the Third Estate, was recently promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG).
Gobir noted that the promotion reflects Moshood’s years of discipline, commitment and exemplary service to the Nigeria Police Force and the country at large.

The group also congratulated Kayode Uthman Magaji, another distinguished son of the Emirate, on his elevation to the rank of Commissioner of Police (CP).
According to the Third Estate, Magaji’s promotion underscores his dedication to duty, courage and consistent contributions to national security.
“These promotions bring immense pride not only to their families but also to the entire Ilorin Emirate, as they continue to exemplify excellence, integrity and leadership in national service,” the statement said.
The association expressed confidence that both officers would continue to uphold the highest standards of professionalism in their new roles while contributing meaningfully to strengthening peace and security across Nigeria.
The Third Estate further prayed that Almighty Allah grants the officers wisdom, protection and greater success as they assume higher responsibilities in the service of the nation.
