BREAKING: INEC Declares Adeleke Winner of Osun Guber Poll, Defeats APC Candidate by 66,252 Votes
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the incumbent Governor of Osun State and Accord Party candidate, Ademola Adeleke, winner of the 2026 governorship election.
Adeleke polled 511,067 votes to defeat his closest challenger, Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who secured 444,815 votes.
The result gives Adeleke a winning margin of 66,252 votes.

The Returning Officer for the election, Prof. Joshua Olalekan Ogunwole, announced the final result on Sunday following the completion of collation from all 30 local government areas of the state.
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate, Najeem Salaam, finished in third place with 17,180 votes.
With the declaration, Adeleke has secured a second term in office, defeating the APC candidate in a closely contested election.
INEC’s announcement followed the conclusion of the collation process across the state, bringing the keenly watched Osun governorship contest to an end.
