FG Allocates Special Funds for Treatment of Wounded Soldiers — Gen. Musa
The Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, has disclosed that the federal government has allocated special funds for the treatment of soldiers wounded at the various theatres of operations across the federation.
Musa disclosed on Tuesday in Abuja when he hosted the Minister of Defence, Abubakar Badaru at the Defence Headquarters in Abuja.
He said that the improved funding would boost the morale of troops on the frontline.

The Defence Chief also urged the minister to sign the harmonized terms and conditions of service for military personnel.
Responding, the Minister of Defence, Abubakar Badaru, commended the federal government for its commitment to improving the welfare of troops.
Badaru said that the special funds for the treatment of wounded soldiers would go a long way in motivating troops to perform their duties effectively.
He also assured the military that the government would continue to provide the necessary resources to support troops in the fight against insecurity.
