
Niger Tanker Disaster: 22 Victims Receiving Treatment at Abuja Medical Centres
In response to the tragic fuel tanker explosion in Suleja, Niger State, 22 victims are now receiving critical medical care at tertiary hospitals in Abuja.
This follows the directive of President Bola Tinubu for their swift transfer to facilities equipped for advanced medical treatment.

According to a statement by the Special Assistant (Media) to the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Rabiu Ibrahim, 20 patients have been admitted to Gwagwalada Specialist Hospital, while two others are receiving treatment at the Federal Medical Centre, Jabi.
To ensure seamless care, each patient was accompanied by a nurse and family members during the transfer to the designated referral centers.
The Niger State Government has expressed its appreciation to the Federal Government for its prompt intervention in the wake of the disaster.
Meanwhile, the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation has assured Nigerians of continuous monitoring of the situation and will provide regular updates as the situation unfolds.
