
NIPR Kaduna Chapter Seeks Security Collaboration Ahead of NIPRW 2026
The Kaduna State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has intensified engagement with key security stakeholders as part of preparations for the forthcoming Nigeria Public Relations Week 2026 (NIPRW 2026), scheduled to hold from April 19 to April 24, 2026.
As part of the consultations, the Chapter Chairman, Haroun Malami, alongside the Chairman of the Local Organising Committee on Security, Wing Commander Bassey, paid a courtesy visit to the Kaduna State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Barrister Suleiman Shuaibu, at his office.
The visit provided an opportunity for the NIPR delegation to brief the commissioner on the security arrangements and strategies being put in place to guarantee a safe and conducive environment for participants expected at the week-long professional gathering.

NIPR Week 2026 is projected to attract hundreds of public relations practitioners, communication experts, policymakers and stakeholders from across Nigeria for a series of professional engagements and strategic discussions.
During the meeting, Barrister Shuaibu commended the leadership of the Kaduna NIPR chapter for its proactive approach in engaging security authorities ahead of the event.
He assured the delegation of the ministry’s full support, noting that the state government remains committed to providing adequate security to ensure the successful hosting of the national gathering.
The commissioner also emphasised the importance of collaboration between professional bodies and security institutions in sustaining peace and strengthening public confidence in major events hosted in the state.
NIPR Week 2026 is expected to feature a range of activities including professional sessions, networking engagements, and policy conversations aimed at strengthening the practice of public relations and enhancing its contribution to governance, corporate reputation management and national development.
