In the realization of its resolve to develop a well equipped civil service to help drive the change desire of the present administration, the Federal Government holds a two –day facilitators’ workshop on the Structured Mandatory Assessment Based Training Programe (SMAT-P) for Federal Civil Servants.
The two-day facilitators’ workshop which was held between 28 to 29th July 2015 took place at the Public Service Institute of Nigeria (PSIN)
The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation Barrister Danladi Kifasi had recently during an interactive session with the civil servants as part of the activities marking the 2015 Nigerian Civil Service Day Celebration said that a Structured Mandatory Assessment Based Training Programme (SMAT-P) has been put in place to equip civil servants with basic skills and knowledge needed to discharge their duties in a more professional knowledgeable, competitive and effective manner.
He said that his office having identified the need to build the capacity of the civil servants across board developed the SMAT-P in partnerships with reputable international training organizations and world class-experts.
