NYSC Director General, Brigadier General YD Ahmed stated this today during the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with New Horizons Systems Solutions Ltd, held at the National Directorate Headquarters in Maitama, Abuja.

Ahmed said all efforts should be geared towards equipping Corps Members with the necessary skills and trainings that would enhance their chances of becoming self-reliant and contributors to the growth of national economy.

The Director General added that the choice of Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) programme as one of the focal areas of his administration is to build on the achievements of previous administrations as a step towards reducing youth unemployment.

“We shall play our part by providing the enabling environment for the smooth implementation of this partnership.
