IBB Condoles Buhari over Death of Family Members
General Ibrahim Babangida, has commiserated with President Muhammadu Buhari over the death of two members of his extended family – Hajiya Halima Dauda and Hajiya Ai’sha Mamman.
General Babangida, also condoled with President Buhari’s uncle, Mallam Mamman Daura over the death of his younger sister.
“I share with Mr President and his entire family this moment of grief and urge Mr President to be consoled by the fact that from Allah we all came and to Him we shall all return “. Hence, he should accept this as the will of Almighty Allah.
General Babangida expressed his heartfelt condolences and prayers to Almighty Allah to comfort their families for the irreparable losses.

IBB Expresses Condolences Over Gen Shagaya, Pa Buratai, Baba-Ahmed I received with great shock the sudden demise of one of the brilliant retired military officers, General John Shagaya this Sunday from a ghastly motor accident. Late General Shagaya until his death had been ardent supporter of unity of Nigeria as a nation and a peace builder irrespective of ethnicism, tribalism and religious bigotry. Equally, my condolences go to the Chief of Army Staff, Lt.General Tukur Yusuf Buratai on the demise of his father a veteran of the Nigerian Army at the age of 103. Similarly, I condole members of the Fourth Estate of the Realm over the demise of veteran broadcaster Late Mahmoon Baba Ahmed who died at the age of 74. My heartfelt condolences go to all their families, friends and well-wishers. May Almighty God comfort their families for the irreparable losses.
