Nigeria, Japan Talk on Peace-Building, Security Technology
In continuation of his official visit to Japan, the Honourable Minister of Defence Mansur Muhammad Dan-Ali has sought the cooperation of Japanese government in the area science and technology with are key in modern military operations.
Mr. Dan-Ali made the call when he paid a courtesy call on the Japanese Defence Minister of State Mr Tomohiro Yamamoto at the Ministry of Defence at Shinjuku-Ku,Tokyo.

Highlighting some of the contributions of Nigeria on national security and peace-keeping operations in other parts of the world, the Nigeria’s Defence Minister said there are a lot the two countries could learn and benefit from each other.
In his remarks, Mr Yamamoto commended Nigeria’s leading role in Africa particularly in supporting regional cooperation on security and peace building. He agreed that the two countries should initiate a defence cooperation that would serve humanity.
