NANS Bestows Societal Transformation Award to CCC

The Centre for Crisis Communication has been awarded for its impeccable roles in managing crisis through effective communication.

The Award was made by the leadership of National Association of Nigeria Students(NANS) at the Corporate headquarters of the Centre for Crisis Communication(CCC) in Abuja.

The “Icon of Societal Transformation” was bestowed upon its leadership, in recognition of dexterous leadership acumen, passionate professional, capabilities, generousity and commitment to the betterment of infrastructural development in Nigeria cum students friendly gesture.

Presenting the award, the Vice President of National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, Comrade Farouq Lawal Umar extolled the indefatigability of both the centre and its leadership in the advocacy for crisis-free society through communication.

“On behalf of over 41 million Nigerian students, we deem it fit to present this award to you, having recognised your dexterous leadership acumen, passionate professional and capabilities,” Lawal said.

In his remarks, the Executive Secretary of Centre for Crisis Communication, Air Commodore Anas expressed pleasure for the recognition and promised NANS of unalloyed support through endowment funds.

“Centre for Crisis Communication was established in 2015 as NGO. It has resolved many crises through effective communication. We promise to help in realisation of ‘NANS Endowment Funds’ through our Corporate Social Responsibility gesture,” Anas assured.

He, however, urged the students’ body to remain ‘vanguard of the nation’ as it was in the 70s and early 80s, in speaking and leading millions of Nigerian students for a good governance in the country.

The NANS entourage include, Yakubu M. Ahmed, NANS Director of Programmes and Lawal A’Pounds.
