NIS Commissions N192m Zamfara Command Complex
The Comptroller General of Nigeria Immigration Service Muhammad Babandede MFR has commissioned the Nigeria Immigration Service Zamfara State Command in Gusau.
It is another milestone in the Service resolve to build more command complexes across the country.
He was represented by ACG Mohammed Aminu Mohammed mni, Zonal Coordinator Zone B, Kaduna.
So far in three years of the steering of the affairs of the Nigeria Immigration Service, the service has Commissioned command complexes in Kano, Jigawa, Plateau, Abia, Akwa Ibom and now Zamfara in Gusau the State Capital.

The Zamfara project awarded on the 28th November 2018 and commenced construction in January 2019 and completed in November 2019 at the cost of N192, 404,794.05 naira.

The leadership of NIS decided to embark on projects such as this to alleviate the problems of Inadequate office space, lack of comfortable lounge for passport applicants, lack of conducive environment befitting a regimented service of the status of NIS, modern facilities necessary for efficient discharge of our statutory responsibilities that were evidently lacking.
With this structures in place maintenance culture became imperative for our officers and men to sustain this legacy projects.
