Police Minister Ressures Nigerians of Adequate Security

The Honorable Minister of Police Affairs, Mohammad Maigari Dingyadi has expressed confidence in the security of lives and properties of Nigerians.He made this known, during an interview with Voice of Nigeria (VON) Hausa Version programme, ‘’Demokradiyya  a Najeriya’’ in Abuja on Monday, 8th June, 2020 – A programme dedicated to feature the achievement of the present administration in the last 5 years.

While acknowledging the spike in crime across the country and the complexities displayed by criminals, Dingyadi said the present administration under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari has put adequate measures in place to curb their excesses.  Responding to the issue of the bandits/ insurgence in Katsina State and the North east in general, Dingyadi noted that the Federal Government is doing it’s best in curbing the situation. He expressed his delight at the onslaught on the bandits and Boko Haram insurgents by the Nigeria Army which has yielded appreciable results. He said the Nigeria Airforce is carrying out air surveillance constantly to ascertain the geographical location of the bandits in Katsina and the North west in general.

 

While asserting the commitment of the federal government through the establishment of the Police Trust Fund, the Minister assured Nigerians of Government’s readiness in making sure evil perpetrators are brought to book noting that the welfare of the Nigeria Police force is non-negotiable.
