Police Nab Killer-Robbers, Kidnappers in Anambra, Abuja

POLICE OPERATIVES BURST A SYNDICATE WHO ALLEGEDLY KILLED A MIDDLE AGED MAN IN AMICHI

Recover the deceased body and lexus jeep from the suspects

On the 9/7/2020 following actionable intelligence, police operatives attached to Ichi Division arrested one Emmanuel Nwafor ‘m’ aged 23 years and Chukwuebuka Obi ‘m’ aged 21years all of Amichi town in Nnewi South LGA of Anambra State.

Suspects had on the 5/7/2020 allegedly robbed and killed one Enoch Nwosu ‘m’ aged about 45 years of Enugwu-Aja village Ichi who left his house since Saturday 4/7/2020 with his Lexus 330 Jeep with Reg No.ZBL 38RL.

Meanwhile,Scene of crime was visited by Police detectives while the body was recovered at Amichi forest and deposited at the mortuary after it was certified dead by a medical doctor.

Consequently,the robbed Lexus Jeep and other valuables were also recovered from the suspects in Asaba and registered as exhibit.Case under investigation after which the Suspects and their fleeing accomplices would be brought to book.

POLICE LAUNCH OPERATION TO RESCUE VICTIMS OF ABAJI KIDNAP
…TWO KIDNAPPERS ARRESTED AND FIREARMS RECOVERED
The FCT Police Command has launched an operation to rescue some persons who were kidnapped in the early hours of Thursday in Abaji.
2. The Command wishes to assure FCT residents of its commitment to rescue the victims unhurt and arrest the suspects.
3. Meanwhile, on Thursday 9th July, 2020 at about 1400hrs a detachment of police operatives from the Command Special Anti-Kidnapping Squad on another operation arrested two suspected kidnappers at Tungan Maje forest in Gwagwalada Area Council.
4. The suspects, Abdullahi Mohammed ‘m’ 29 years and Adamu Musa ‘m’ 26 years, were arrested in possession of one fabricated revolver pistol with the capacity to discharge AK47 ammunition, one Dane gun, eight rounds of 7.62mm live ammunitions and one Itel phone, which have been recovered as exhibits.
5. The investigation is on-going.
