A Year After Closing Airways, 75 Nigerians Depart for Lesser Hajj in S/Arabia
75 Nigerians today departed the country via the Nnamdi Azikiwe international airport to perform lesser Hajj in Saudi Arabia, says the NAHCON Abuja outreach.
This signify the opening of Saudi airways for Nigerians, after Umrah was banned in February 2020.

It is coming after Saudi Arabia closed its Airways for almost a year, following the outbreak of COVID-19.
The Head of the Abuja outreach, Umar M Kalgo, while confirming the departure, said a total of 75 pilgrims departed Nigeria to Saudi Arabia, today.
“50 of them are from Eminista Travels and tours and 25 from Earth travels,” Kaldo added.
