The Controller of corrections Mallam Aliyu Baba Usman of Kwara State Command commissioned two new non-custodial office complex yesterday 10th of June 2021 in Iloffa Oke-ero Local government area of Kwara State and that of Oke-Onigbin in Isin Local government area of the State.
The office complex was a self development project sited in Iloffa and Oke-Onigbin in the aforementioned local governments above, where millions of naira was invested.
The program recorded a huge success and it was graciously accepted and appreciated by the citizens of the two communities with the attendance of the two community traditional rulers, the Aloffa of Iloffa, HRH Oba Engineer Samuel Niyi Dada J.P and HRH Oba Kamarudeen Salahudeen The Onigbin of Oke Onigbin, the traditional chiefs, the local council chairmen, the divisional police officers, the road safety, civil defense personnel, market women, the youth leaders, the young and the old were in attendance at the program.
The community leaders promised to effectively utilize the office complex judiciously towards the set goals.
While the state Controller, Mallam Aliyu Baba Usman appreciated the Almighty God for the gift of life and thank the new Controller General of Corrections CGCS Haliru Nababa MNI for his visionary leadership quality towards the success of the program.
Some of the highlights of the program was the presentation of the service Correctional Act to guide the mode of operations in the centers and a light music by the market women in the town to grace the occasion as a means of entertaining the Controller and the members of his entourage and the program was rounded up with a group photograph as shown below.
