Entries Open for 7th Campus Journalism Awards 2025

The Youths Digest Campus Journalism Initiative has announced the opening of entries for the 7th edition of the Campus Journalism Awards (CJA) 2025, a platform dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the outstanding contributions of student journalists across Nigeria.

This year’s edition, themed “AI and the Future of Journalism”, highlights the role of young journalists in navigating a fast-changing media landscape shaped by Artificial Intelligence and technological innovation. According to the Convener, Gidado Yushau Shuaib, the 2025 edition will honor 30 finalists across 13 categories.

Entries opened on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, and will close on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, while the grand award ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, December 6, 2025, in Abuja. Interested participants are to submit their entries through the official portal www.youthsdigest.org

The event is hosted in partnership with the Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Centre (CISLAC)/Transparency International Nigeria and is proudly supported by the Voice of Nigeria (VON). The 7th CJA promises to be a landmark celebration of innovation, creativity, and commitment to truth among young journalists shaping the future of media in Nigeria.
