Tinubu Swears In Five New Perm. Secs., NPC Boss
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Wednesday swore in five newly appointed Permanent Secretaries to fill existing vacancies across the federal civil service.
The brief ceremony, held at the Council Chambers of the State House in Abuja, took place shortly before the commencement of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting presided over by the President.

Those sworn in include Alhaji Abdulkarim Ibrahim (North Central), Dr. John Ezeamama, Dr. Abdul Sule Garba (North West), Dr. Ishiyaku Mohammed (North East) and Dr. Ukaire Binyerem Chigbowu (South East).
After administering the oath of office, President Tinubu also inaugurated the newly appointed Chairman of the National Population Commission (NPC), Aminu Yusuf, alongside two other commissioners of the Commission.
During the FEC session, the Council observed a minute of silence in honour of the late former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Joy Ogwu, who passed away on Oct. 13 at the age of 79.
