Kanwan Katsina Congratulates New Customs Boss
The Kanwan Katsina and District Head of Ketare, Alhaji Usman Bello Kankara has congratulated Mr Bashir Adewale Adeniyi on his appointment as the Acting Comptroller General of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS).
The congratulatory message is contained in statement signed by his media officer (Sarkin Labarun Kanwan) Jamilu Hashimu Gora.
The statement describes the appointment of Bashir Adeniyi by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as meritorious considering his qualifications, experiences and track records of achievements in the customs service through the ranks up to Deputy Comptroller General of Customs (DCG)

Furthermore, the statement called on the Acting Comptroller General of the Nigeria Customs Service Adewale Adeniyi to use his experience in the customs service to evolve strategies that will boost revenue generation and suppress smuggling activities in the Nation.
The Statement explained that the Kanwan Katsina who was a retired comptroller in the Nigeria Customs Service and having worked closely with the new Acting Comptroller General in the public relations department prayed for God guidance and good health to enable him discharge his duties effectively to the Nation.
On behalf of the Kanwan Katsina U.K Bello as popularly known in the customs circle, his Family and the entire communities of Ketare District in Kankara Local Government Area of Katsina State, the statement assured the New Acting Comptroller General of support and advice at all times.
