Prisoners Get Free Legal Services in Makurdi
Indigent prison inmates in the Medium Security Prison, Makurdi, Benue state have received free legal services courtesy of the Legal Aids Community Development Group of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
The inmates who have no legal representations in court were clerked by the corps members in the bid to offer them legal services pro bono.
This gesture is geared towards reducing congestion in prisons, which is the major challenge of the prison.
