According to a statement issued by Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, Director of Public Relations and Information at NAF Headquarters, the CAS described the course as a significant milestone in strengthening the Service’s human intelligence capacity. He emphasised the importance of intelligence-led operations, particularly in an era where threats from non-state actors, criminal groups, and internal saboteurs are rapidly evolving.
“These evolving challenges have necessitated a shift in how the Nigerian Air Force anticipates, prepares for, and responds to threats,” the Air Chief stated.
The intensive course trained participants in intelligence collection, analysis, dissemination, and counterintelligence.
Officers from various NAF commands and units were selected to foster service-wide integration and help close intelligence gaps across operational theatres.
Air Marshal Abubakar praised the Commandant and instructional staff for their professionalism and expressed appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his continued support to the Nigerian Air Force. He assured that the NAF would remain committed to strengthening its operational capabilities in line with its constitutional mandate.
