FRSC Redeploys Senior Officers to Strengthen Operational Efficiency
In a strategic initiative to enhance operational efficiency, strengthen institutional coordination, and reposition the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) for improved service delivery, Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed has approved a major redeployment of senior officers.
The announcement, made on Wednesday by Assistant Corps Commander Agboola Olundegun, highlights the Corps’ commitment to aligning its workforce with its statutory mandate and operational priorities.
As part of the redeployments, Olusegun Ogungbemide, former Corps Public Education Officer and one-time Sector Commander in Lagos State, has been appointed as the Assistant Corps Marshal in charge of Operations at the FRSC National Headquarters, Abuja. In his new role, ACM Ogungbemide will oversee nationwide enforcement coordination and strategic field operations, positioning him at the center of the Corps’ critical operational activities.

Felicia Kalu, previously Deputy Corps Public Education Officer, has been promoted to Acting Corps Public Education Officer. She will now lead the Corps’ public communications, media engagement, and nationwide road safety advocacy campaigns.

Corps Commander Maxwell Kaltungo Lede has moved from Sector Commander, RS1.3 Katsina Sector Command, to assume duties as Corps Intelligence Officer (CIO) at the National Headquarters.
Corps Commander HA Ibrahim has been redeployed from Corps Commander Manpower at the FRSC Academy to Sector Commander, RS1.3 Katsina Sector Command.
Corps Commander HA Ogundayo transitions from Corps Commander (National Traffic Radio) at the Public Education Office to Corps Commander (NTR) in the Corps Marshal’s Office.
Deputy Corps Commander OJ Ohaeri FNIPR has been reassigned from Deputy Corps Commander (Marshal Inspector) Administration and Human Resources Department, RSHQ, to Deputy Corps Public Education Officer.
Corps Marshal Mohammed emphasized that the redeployments are part of ongoing efforts to enhance the professionalism, efficiency, and service delivery of the FRSC. He urged the affected officers to leverage their experience and commitment to advance the Corps’ mission in their new assignments.
