Mr Idris made this call during courtesy visit by the new Executive Members of ANAN FCT Chapter Abuja led by their President Mr Abdullahi Yahaya yesterday 15th March , 2016.
The AGF commended them for thinking positively and urged them to turn their bogus plan into a phased out a modest plan considering their two years tenure. Speaking further the AGF noted that though part of their plan is the building of a 3000 persons capacity Secretariat for their members, as accountants, the onus is on them to plan within limited resources presently available.
Whilst acknowledging the good initiative of the new ANAN Executive, Mr Idris advised them focus on acquiring a land for the proposed Secretariat and also to consider the laying the foundation stone for building the Secretariat first.
Speaking further, Mr Idris reiterated the Treasury House’s commitment to collaborate with the new executive whilst noting that the partnership will not be finance based because the Treasury House depends on budgeted funds for its operations.
The AGF drawing from his wealth of experience advised the Executive council to research on increasing their revenue generation through organising conferences, workshops, seminars and training adding that it is through such programmes that they can achieve your organizational goals, which is their primary responsibility.
Earlier in his Speech, the Chairman of the ANAN FCT Chapter, Abdullahi B. Yahaya had appealed to AGF for support in achieving their dreams in building 3000 person Capacity Secretariat for their ANAN Members.
