Crime Prevention: NPS, NSCDC Share Intelligence in Bauchi
The Nigeria Prisons Service Bauchi State Command and the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) have resolved to synergize in the area of intelligence gathering and sharing with a view to combating crime in the State.
This was reached when the Controller of Prisons Bauchi State Command, Suleiman T. Suleiman received in his office today the newly posted Commandant of the NSCDC Bauchi State Command, Haliru Usman Alhassan. on a courtesy call.
The Controller of Prisons noted that the two Services enjoy cordial working relationship in the state. He therefore urged the new Commandant to maintain the tempo.
Earlier in his remarks, the Commandant of the NSCDC, Haliru Usman Alhassan, commended the NPS for the warm reception accorded him. He reiterated his Command’s readiness to partner with all the security agencies in the state.He stressed that the ultimate aim of all the security agencies is to prevent crime and ensure the rule of law.
