POWA Honous Mrs. Umar for Building Children in Anambra
On the 8/6/2019 the Police Officers Wives Association (POWA) Anambra State chapter organized a grandiose Sendforth party for the immediate past POWA Chairperson of the chapter Mrs Khadija Fayek Umar, wife of the former Commissioner of Police Anambra State Command CP Garba Baba Umar.
The occasion which took place at Trigpoint hotel Awka was graced by important dignitaries including Mrs Victoria Chikelu (Representing wife of the Anambra State Governor),DCP Mike Okoli representing the Commissioner of Police Anambra State Command, HRM Igwe Chris Onyekwuluje,, Senior Police officers, Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) Police wives Association (PWA) etc.

During the occasion, gifts were presented by the celebrant to Police wives including widows and orphans in the State.
It would be recalled that Mrs Khadija Fayek Umar was the initiator of the Ultra Modern Police Children School II Onitsha which has reached ninety percent completion in order to provide access to better education to Police and non Police Children in the Community.
She has also touched the lives of many orphans and less privileges in the State by empowering them through her skills acquisitions programmes and other humanitarian drive.
6. The Command through POWA also presented a Souvenir to the former Chairperson Mrs Khadija Umar to show their appreciations and wishes her and her family God’s guidance and protection through out their future endeavors.
